Gerhard Ross '45, Crookston, Minnesota
Gerhard Ross is past president of the Northwest School of Agriculture (NWSA) Alumni Board.
Ross graduated in 1945 from the NWSA and went on to the University of Minnesota where he received his bachelor's degree in 1953 and master's degree in 1962. He has been instrumental in the work on the Centennial Park project at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
He has served as president of the Noon Day Lions Club and serves on the board of the Red River Valley Sugarbeet Museum. Gerhard and his wife, Norma, have lived and farmed in the Fisher, Minn., area their entire lives.
Gerhard Ross received the Torch & Shield Award in 1989.
