The minimum pledge is $1 per mile.
 Hi! My name is Bill Tyrrell. I was born and grew up in Bismarck, ND. I attended both Valley City State University (ND) where I graduated in 1983. I then attended the University of North Dakota where I completed my work towards my athletic training certification.
I have worked at the University of Minnesota, Crookston for the past 21 years. The first 18 years I served as the head athletic trainer and since August of 2005 I have taken over the role of the Director of Athletic Fundraising. Over these years I have come in contact with thousands of student-athletes and have remained friends with many of them. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, April 23rd on the UMC Campus. All of the contributions will go to fund athletic scholarships and operating expenses at UMC. Please consider donating towards this event. Last year’s event raised over $10,000 for athletic scholarships and this year we hope to raise over $15,000.
This year the student athletes will be participating by walking with me to help raise money for UMC Athletics. Thank you for your consideration. ~ Bill
