• Marketing and promotion of UMC's athletic programs
• Internal affairs within UMC's athletics department
• Monitoring Title IX and gender equity issues within the department

Biography:

Stephanie Helgeson began work as the office specialist for UMC's Athletics Department in late 1995.  In early 1997, she began work as the sports information coordinator.  In September of 2000 she was named the assistant director of athletics.  She attended UMC for two years in the early 90s before transferring to UND to complete her bachelor's degree.

Educational Background:

• B.A. in Business Administration with a major in Information  Management from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND
