Update - April 23, 2007
The University will return to the negotiation table after UMC faculty voted no last week to provisions impacting them in the most recent contract offer. UMD faculty voted yes to provisions impacting them in the same contract. University administration and University Education Association (UEA) have been working toward the first three-year contract for UMC faculty members, who unionized in August 2005.
