Subject: Contract Ratified
The University Education Association has informed the University that Crookston faculty members have ratified the labor agreement between the Univerisity of Minnesota and UEA-Crookston. This agreement will be brought to the Board of Regents on July 11th with a recommendation for approval.
This contract will be effective upon signing of the agreement and will continue through June 31, 2009. We are pleased with the successful conclusion to this negotiation and recognize the hard work by both parties to address difficult issues. We anticipate moving forward together to address the important issues that will strategically position UMC for the future.
The
