Warren, Minnesota (June 10, 2008) – There is a lot of interest in wind energy development in Northwestern Minnesota. Individuals and communities are looking for opportunities to develop their local wind resource, but many also wonder how best to go about this and what they should consider before moving forward with a project. The Northwest Minnesota Clean Energy Resource Team (CERT) and the Southwest Initiative Foundation are pleased to host a free event June 18, 2008, in Warren that will help educate landowners and the general public on wind rights and development choices as well as where to access resources for advice. |
“We hope that this event provides landowners and community members with the opportunity to ask their own wind development questions while also providing them with a better understanding of the emerging opportunities for wind development,” says Melissa Pawlisch, CERTs Coordinator.
