CROOKSTON, Minn. (August 3, 2008) – If you find yourself at the Minnesota State Fair this year, stop by the University of Minnesota Building on Saturday and Sunday, August 23-24, 2008, and visit with volunteers from the University of Minnesota, Crookston.

Visitors will have the chance to learn about all of the new, exciting things taking place at the University and will also get the opportunity to win great prizes by participating in a trivia game. University of Minnesota, Crookston alumni who have the opportunity to stop by the booth will receive a gift as well as the option of signing up to receive alumni updates.

Director of Communications, Public Relations and Marketing Andrew Svec will be at the booth, as well as Associate Professor David DeMuth, Jr., Ph.D., and members of the University of Minnesota, Crookston Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team. DeMuth will be presenting information about computer gaming in education, and SIFE will be presenting on the Minnesota Stage on Saturday, August 23, giving away great prizes to visitors who answer questions on various topics in business.
