(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston Athletic Director Stephanie Helgeson and Director of Athletic Fundraising Bill Tyrrell announced today that Crookston Pontiac-Buick-GMC, in conjunction with the “Golden Eagles on Wheels” program will donate a car for Golden Eagle athletic coaches to use during the recruiting season. This type of sponsorship is vital to the overall success of a growing NCAA II athletic program as the vehicles are used by our coaches during their peak recruiting seasons and can save the athletic budget up to $5,000 annually.

Athletic Director Stephanie Helgeson says, “We are very excited about our partnership with Crookston Pontiac-Buick-GMC and their willingness to contribute a vehicle is essential to our programs. This really helps our recruiting budgets and Golden Eagle athletics feels fortunate for the contribution.”
