(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Soccer team will hit the road for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) soccer games this weekend. However, the Golden Eagles will enjoy a day off between the two contests. U of M, Crookston will face the University of Minnesota Duluth on Friday, September 26 at 6 p.m. The Golden Eagles will travel to Bemidji State University on Sunday, September 28. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
The University of Minnesota, Crookston holds an overall record of 1-5-1 and NSIC record of 0-2-0 after dropping a pair of league games to Upper Iowa University (3-1) and Winona State University (6-0). The Golden Eagles are led by Justine Jones (Jr, Mid/Fwd, Richland, Wash.) who has scored three goals for six points. Auralee Strege (Fr, Fwd/Mid, Forest Lake, Minn.) has scored one goal and added two assists for four points while Kelsey Palmer (So, Fwd, Crookston, Minn.) has scored one goal and added one assist for three points.

The Bulldogs have an overall record of 1-6-1 and NSIC record 1-0-1 after settling for a scoreless tie with Minnesota State University, Mankato and defeating Southwest Minnesota State University 3-0. Brittany Brown has scored two goals and added one assist for five points. Becky Anderson has scored one goal and added three assists for five points.
U of M, Crookston at Bemidji State University 1 p.m. Sunday, September 28
The Beavers have an overall record of 6-2-0 and NSIC record of 0-2-0 after dropping games to Southwest Minnesota State University (2-1) and Minnesota State University, Mankato (2-1) this past weekend. Ashlee Ellefsen has scored seven goals and added three assists for 17 points. The game will be available via streaming audio on the following website.
