Golden Eagle Baseball Program to Hold Fundraiser Dinner

Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Baseball program will be hosting a fundraiser dinner at the Crookston Eagles Club on Thursday, November 13. Cost of the dinner is $30 for either prime rib or walleye. All proceeds will benefit the Golden Eagle Baseball program.


A social will be held at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., a program will be held with University of Minnesota Assistant Head Baseball Coach Rob Fornasiere serving as guest speaker. Fornasiere has been an assistant with the Golden Gophers since 1985. He has spent the past 16 seasons as assistant head coach and played a major part in the University of Minnesota Baseball program’s success.


“We are thrilled to be hosting this dinner and even more excited to have a speaker the quality of Rob Fornasiere,” says University of Minnesota, Crookston Head Baseball Coach Chris Vito. “He is one of the most respected baseball coaches in the country and is a major reason the Golden Gopher Baseball program has maintained the level of success it has over its history. It is going to be great to hear him speak and also to get people thinking about the exciting things going on with the Golden Eagle Baseball program.”
