Crookston, Minn. (October 13, 2008) – A groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus residence hall at the University of Minnesota, Crookston will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. (location will be outdoors, east of Skyberg Hall, south of the Sports Center and north of Brink Hall). The $10.6 million, 128-bed facility will house the growing student population in two wings, each with 16 two-bedroom/4 bed units.

U of M, Crookston administration, faculty and staff will be joined by Crookston Mayor David Genereux and representatives from the Crookston Convention and Visitors Bureau, Community Contractors and Michael J. Burns Architects for the ceremony.
