Crookston, Minn. (November 12, 2008) –Eric Burgess, Ph.D., instructor in the Business Department at the University of Minnesota, Crookston  presented a paper summarizing the results of his doctoral dissertation at the International Association of Business and Public Administration Disciplines Conference in Memphis, Tenn., on October 27, 2008.

Burgess’ paper titled "A Grounded Theory for Strategic Planning in Higher Education” received high ratings from conference participants who attended his presentation. The conference was well attended by higher education faculty and administrators representing universities and colleges from throughout the United States and Canada. His paper will be published in the conference proceedings.
