When: Thursday, February 19, 2009, Noon - 2 p.m.


The University of Minnesota, Crookston Sustainability Committee and the Crookston Students for Sustainable Development (CSSD) will host a Sustainability Forum on Thursday, February 19,2009. The forum begins at noon in Bede Ballroom in the Sargeant Student Center. Dan Daly from the Energy & Environment Research Center (EERC) at University of North Dakota will be making a presentation. The public is welcome to attend.

Daly’s talk will be preceded by a brief presentations from the U of M, Crookston Sustainability Committee and CSSD.  There will be a poster session and refreshments available during this event.

A number of students, faculty, and staff have taken action to make the U of M, Crookston campus community more sustainable.  There are a number of initiatives under way, and this event will touch on how individuals might help to make the U of M, Crookston carbon neutral and reduce the carbon footprint.
