Scott Hennen, AM 1100 radio personality, will be speaking at the University of
Minnesota, Crookston on Monday, April 20, 2009. Hennen, conservative talk-radio host, will speak at 7:30 p.m. in Kiehle Auditorium. Audience questions will be welcome along with all political opinions. The event is free and the public is welcome. The event is sponsored by the College Republicans at the U of M, Crookston.
Hennen is the president and CEO of Great Plains Integrated Marketing, and host of The Scott Hennen Show. He hails from a radio family, and has been on-air since he was 12-years old, starting at KDMA Radio in Montevideo, Minn. He has been a part of radio in the Red River Valley since 1984. He is a news-talk broadcasting pioneer. When he put KCNN radio on-the-air in Grand Forks, N.D. and East Grand Forks, Minnesota in 1986, it was the first all-talk radio station in the region, and one of only 125 similar stations in the United States.
