Golden Eagle Softball Game Times and Fields Changed for this Weekend

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Softball team will play its first “home” games on the road this weekend in St. Paul and St. Cloud, Minn.

The Golden Eagles will open the weekend at Rice and Arlington Fields in St. Paul on Saturday, April 4 against Concordia- St. Paul. The games have been pushed back to a 4 p.m. start. The field is turf to help ensure field conditions will be playable.

Minnesota, Crookston then travels to St. Cloud to take on the Huskies of St. Cloud State University on Sunday. Game times have been pushed back to 8 p.m. and the games will be played in the Husky Dome on the SCSU campus.

UMC’s games with MSU Moorhead on Tuesday, April 7 are tentative until a field can be found. The team travels to Winona State on April 10 and Upper Iowa on April 11. The team returns home on Wednesday, April 15 to host Bemidji State University at 3 p.m.
