U of M, Crookston Communication Club Announces Logo Contest Winner

The Communication Club at the University of Minnesota, Crookston has announced the winner of a contest to design a logo for the club. Junior Stefanie Rude, Halstad, Minn., designed the winning logo. Her entry was picked from 12 entries judged on criteria based on aesthetic appeal and functionality.  

The new logo will be used by the Communication Club on all future promotional material.

Spencer Dobson, president of the club, was pleased by the contest’s entries and participation. “The logo contest entries were both creative and interesting,” Dobson said. “I think the club is going to be pleased with the new logo and I would like to congratulate Stefanie on her design.”

Rude will receive a gift package totaling approximately $100 in prizes from Crookston merchants including: the Northland Inn, the Novel Cup, Rejuv, and the Nicholas Collections Mall.
