We would like to thank the 30 plus businesses and numerous community members who have participated in Maroon & Gold Fridays, shared Kylene Lehmann and Kari Vallager, both UMC Alumni Association Board members. Maroon & Gold Fridays encourages both the UMC community and surrounding communities to wear the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) colors to show pride and spirit. Each month throughout the centennial year from September 2005 to May 2006, one winner received an office party for their participation in the event. Even though the centennial year is coming to a close, everyone is still encouraged to wear maroon and gold on Fridays to show support for UMC.
