UMC Attracts New Talent – Kristie Jacobsen to Support Campus Residential Life, Student Services

 CROOKSTON, MN (June 20, 2006) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) announces the appointment of Kristie Jacobsen to the position of assistant director of residential life and Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug (ATOD) coordinator. In this position, Jacobsen will assist with UMC’s housing programs and events and promote healthy choices for students and alternatives to alcohol and drugs. She will plan and manage on-going student events and activities related to these two areas. Jacobsen is a recent graduate of California State University, Chico and has been employed in their on-campus housing program. She also has held positions with Bank of America in Chico and Fresno, Calif. An accomplished student activities programmer, Jacobsen expects to arrive in Crookston in mid-July.
