UMC hosts University of Minnesota Board of Regents October 12 & 13, 2006

CROOKSTON, MN (September 27, 2006) – The University of Minnesota Board of Regents will hold their monthly meeting at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) on Oct. 12 and 13, 2006.
 
All meetings are open to the public. The schedule is as follows:
Thurs., Oct. 12, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., Board of Regents work session, Bede Ballroom A, B & C; 2:45 – 4:30 p.m., Educational Planning & Policy Committee, Bede Ballroom A, B & C; and 2:45 – 4:30 p.m., Finance & Operations Committee, Bede Ballroom D & E.
Friday, Oct. 13, 9 – 11:30 a.m., Board of Regents meeting, Bede Ballroom A, B & C.
 
The 12-member Board of Regents is the governing body of the University of Minnesota, and the last time UMC hosted the Board was in 2003. In conjunction with the meeting, a dedication of UMC’s new residence hall, Centennial Hall, will take place on Oct.12 at 11 a.m.
