U of M, Crookston Hires Emily Knutson as Financial Aid Officer

CROOKSTON, MN (November 29, 2006) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) is pleased to announce the hiring of Emily Knutson as a financial aid officer.Knutson was previously employed as a personal banker for the Wells Fargo Bank branch office in Thief River Falls, Minn. She is a graduate of the University of North Dakota (UND) where she earned a bachelor of business administration in financial management.
 
Knutson brings experience working with student loan products at Wells Fargo and also as a former work-study student within the financial aid office at UND. "We are pleased to have Ms. Knutson join our staff. Her prior work experience along with her ability to relate to our students will be a great asset to our office." Director of Financial Aid Melissa Dingmann said.
 
Along with Dingmann, Knutson joins Mary Feller, financial aid officer and scholarship coordinator in the Student Financial Aid Office.  She assumed her duties at UMC on Nov. 20.
