Golden Eagle Women’s Soccer Team Travels to Bemidji State University and Jamestown College

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Soccer team travels to Bemidji State University on Saturday and Jamestown College on Sunday. Both games are non-conference and start at 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm respectively.

 

The Golden Eagles are coming off a 3-0 win at Dakota Wesleyan University on Sunday. It was their second win in three contests. Megan Hannon (So., Mid./Def., Green Bay, Wis.), Megan Gibeault (Fr., Fwd./Mid., Green Bay, Wis.) and Kelsey Palmer (Fr., Mid./Fwd., Crookston, Minn.) all scored goals for U of M, Crookston. Athena Mussenden (So., GK., Kenosha, Wis.) recorded the shutout in net. They have a record of 2-4-0.

 

Bemidji State University is 3-3-1 on the season after losing to the University of Minnesota, Duluth by a score of 3-0 on Monday. Ashlee Ellefsen (Fr., Fwd., Hugo, Minn.) leads the Beavers with three goals and one assist for seven points.

 

Jamestown College is 2-4-0 on the season after a 3-2 loss to Morningside College on Sunday. They will host the University of Great Falls on Friday at 3:00 pm.
