Golden Eagle Tennis Team Hosts Meets Saturday & Sunday

(Crookston, Minn.) – The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women’s Tennis team will have a pair of home matches this weekend. On Saturday, February 16, the Golden Eagles will take on the University of Minnesota, Duluth at 7:30 am. They will finish off the weekend on Sunday, February 17 at 9:00 am against Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) foe Northern State University. Both matches will be played at Centre Court Fitness Club in Grand Forks, N.D.

 

U of M, Crookston looks to rebound after losing their season opener 9-0 to Minnesota State University Moorhead on Friday, Feb. 8. 

 

Head Coach Josh Lunak is looking forward to the upcoming weekend. “I thought we played pretty well last weekend considering it was our first match of the season,” says Coach Lunak. “I expect that we will step it up another notch from this weekend. All I am expecting is that we keep improving every weekend so we are ready for the conference tournament.”
