Workstudy

Work-Study is an opportunity for on-campus employment while gaining valuable experience working closely with faculty and staff at the university level. Most students find work-study to be a convenient way to earn money as campus employers understand the scheduling needs of a college student. Students often list their work-study experience on their resumes and have the opportunity to use their supervisor's as a reference. Keep in mind that all work-study earnings can be excluded from your income on your next year's FAFSA under worksheet C.

Work-Study is need based, so you must have need and have been awarded work-study on your financial aid award notification in order to be eligible. Work-study comes from either federal or state funding depending on residency. Work-study funds are earned and there is no option of requesting the remaining work-study amount that is not earned. Students may work beginning the first day of the semester to the last day of the semester. We do not employ work-study students over the summer.
