Health Insurance

The University requires all students who register for 6 or more on-campus credits** to have health insurance. Students will be asked to show proof of health insurance by presenting their insurance policy number, the name of the insurance provider, and the telephone number of the provider. If students do not have health insurance or provide proof of health insurance, they will be automatically charged for University sponsored insurance.

Detailed Information about University sponsored Insurance

Update Health Insurance Information.

Single rate coverage for the 2009-2010 University Group Policy is $907 per semester. The student health insurance semester premium will be placed on the registration fee statement.

Health insurance must be verified by the Student Health Insurance Application/Waiver Card at the time of registration or the cost of insurance will be added to students' fee statements. Proof of insurance must be done the first day of the semester.

**Non-degree-seeking students: If you are a non-degree-seeking student, you are not required to carry health insurance and are not eligible to enroll in the University-sponsored Student Health Benefit Plan.
