Academic Assistance Center Tutoring Coordinator with Tutoring Card

The Academic Assistance Center, in Owen Hall 270, coordinates a peer tutoring program. Tutors are full time students who have been recommended, in writing, by the instructor of the subject matter involved or have presented transcript documentation to the Tutor Coordinator.

Academic Assistance Center (AAC) Mission

The Academic Assitance Center (AAC) is a place where students with a variety of academic needs can come together to receive learning assistance. The AAC strives to provide UMC students an opportunity to further develop their learning skills and build new relationships in the process. The AAC's environment encourages the development of a collaborative working relationship between tutors, tutees & AAC staff.
