Lhakpa Gurung
I am Lhakpa, and I was born in Nepal , in the Himalayan region, where there are lots of high mountains. I am 21 years old. I can speak five languages, Indian, Tibetan, English, Nepal and my mother tongue. I like little children and playing with them too. I like to meet many people and make friends with them, especially from different countries. During summer, I like to swim and go picnic with my friends and family in beautiful places. I also like doing social works. In Nepal , I was an active member of many clubs and organization like Leo Club, King Mahindra Trust for Nature Conservation etc.

Now I am studying in University of Minnesota , Crookston, from 2007, fall. I am majoring in Early Childhood Education and Program Management. I have a part time job at UMC in the dinning service and sometimes I do tutoring and baby sit also. Now I have many good friends in UMC and I enjoy every moment in this university. I have joined International Club, Alpha Lambda Club and the Early Childhood Club. I have learnt lots of things by involving in these clubs.

My name is Alvin Tong and I am an international student from Singapore . I am majoring in Business Aviation and Nature Resources Aviation. I chose to come to UMC because it offers one of the cheapest aviation courses. Furthermore, the people in UMC are very helpful and friendly. I like to read books, play soccer, video games, or just chill out at a coffeehouse. I also like outdoor activities like swimming, fishing, camping, and hiking.
